Black Prince Trust
In partnership with its stakeholders, the Black Prince Trust co-ordinates a series of sessions and programmes for the community, including free sports sessions for everyone: basketball, football, athletics and boxing sessions for everyone from age 8 to age 80.
Tai Chi takes place in Kennington Park every Thursday at 2pm. No booking is required and the cost of the sessions are £10. Sessions are run by Michael Jacques.
There are several ways to find a football league to play in. Kennington Association’s partner Play 5 A Side runs 5 a side or 7 a side leagues on the sports pitches on Lollard Street:
Sports in Lambeth Parks -Tennis, Netball, Football, Cricket...
You can book tennis courts and and other sports pitches in many Lambeth parks, such as Kennington Park, Vauxhall Park, Archbishop Park. There are cricket nets in Archbishop Park and a cricket ground in Kennington Park. Parks in Lambeth are managed by Better and you can book facilities on their website.

London Petanque Club
The London Pétanque Club offers people of all ages and abilities the chance to play petanque in a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere.
Address: Sessions take place in Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens, next to the multisport pitch.
Vauxhall Climbing Centres
VauxWall have two popular indoor bouldering climbing centers in the area: one on Lollard Street, Vauxeast and Vauxwest which is under the arches at Vauxhall. All levels welcome!
There are several gym facilities in Kennington, such as Black Prince Trust (see entry on this page) or Snap Fitness, near Elephant & Castle, which offers a 24/7 service:
