  • The world’s first Museum of Garden History tells the story of gardens and gardening through the centuries and brings to life the work of great garden designers, gardeners and plant collectors.
  • This museum is housed in the former St. Mary-at-Lambeth parish church. The tomb of the John Tradescants, gardeners to Charles I and adventurous plant hunters who introduced many of the flowers, shrubs and trees we grow today, is in the museum garden. The centre piece is a 17th century style knot garden  planted with the species that the Tradescants grew.

Opening times: Tuesday-Sunday 10.30 am-5 pm
